4. Orders, Payments and Installation Conditions

5. Warranties, Repairs and Maintenance

We carry out installations and services with reasonable skill and care. However, the performance of an air-conditioning system, heat pump or water generator depends on proper sizing, correct use, site conditions, electrical supply, airflow, drainage and ongoing servicing. Coastal humidity, dust, roof space temperatures and municipal water conditions can also affect results.

Service plans and maintenance work are designed to reduce breakdowns, but they do not prevent every fault. If a unit has been altered by another party, exposed to power surges, incorrectly used, or neglected for long periods, further repair may be needed at additional cost. We may recommend replacement rather than repair where parts are no longer available or the equipment has reached the end of its practical life.

6. Liability Limits and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Airconditioning Superstore and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, business interruption, loss of data, or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes power failures, municipal outages, theft, vandalism, severe weather, transport delays and supplier shortages.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the website, inaccurate instructions, unsafe site conditions, or failure to obtain the necessary approvals for installation or service work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
